We're
located 3 miles away from the Horicon National Wildlife
Refuge which is home to more than 150,000 Canada geese
during their spring and fall migrations. If you miss
the migration, don't worry. The marsh is a great place
to bird watch or discover the variety of wildlife found
in the area. |

In
and around the marsh, take pleasure in over 34 miles
of trails. The Wild Goose Recreation Trail is an old
railroad bed that skirts the western edge of the marsh.
It can be used for hiking, biking, walking, bird watching,
snowmobiling and cross-country skiing. If you want to
see some of the marsh's hidden corners a little closer,
the Wildlife Foot Trails might be more style. One of
the trails even takes you right through the cattails. |

On
your visit, don't miss the Marsh Haven Nature Center.
The center includes nature trails, a restored prairie
and a 30 foot high observation tower which over looks
the marsh wetlands. |

lots of fishing holes and perfect hunting spots within
